Professional Experiences:

alabama4Owner and operator of Aranaway Farm and Training Stable. A training and breeding facility with over fifty head of show horses, broodmares, and breeding stallions. Aranaway Farm is a full service facility providing artificial insemination (AI), fresh cooled semen transport, and current entering into frozen semen transport. Aranaway Farm was established in 1952.

Trainer of Morgans, Saddlebreds, Arabians, National Show Horses, Pintos, Paints, and other breeds. Entered the show ring as an exhibitor at the age of five, and currently continues to successfully compete locally, regionally, and nationally.

Knowledge and expertise of the Morgan horse resulted in a request for services by the Morgan Horse Club of Germany in 1989. Judged the first Morgan horse show in Germany, trained German riders, and presented clinics on equestrian management.

Over 20 years experience in training novice riders in all areas of horsemanship; many have gone on to win grand champion titles, locally, regionally, and at the national level.

Coordinator and speaker at clinics and symposiums providing instruction in all phases of training, equitation, show ring grooming, attire, and general rules of the horse show world. Clinician at judges seminars, training future judges, as well as keeping current judges advised of rules and procedures.

Competed successfully in the show ring handling my own horses as well as client's horses. I ride Saddle Seat, Hunt Seat and Western, also show Harness horses, and compete in the "In Hand" division.
